What are the differences between the Forest suite and the Garden suite?
The main difference is that the Garden suite has a full kitchen, an extra (single) bed, and the bathroom is in a separate lockable space. The Forest suite, on the other hand, features an en-suite bathroom attached to the bedroom. The Forest suite does not have a kitchen but offers a coffee corner with a Nespresso machine, a hot water dispenser, and a cupboard filled with plates, cutlery, mugs, glasses, cutting board, and a toaster for preparing your own breakfast or lunch. Another distinction is that the flat-screen TV in the Forest suite is located in the bedroom, while in the Garden suite, it is placed in the living room.
Which suite should I choose?
Your choice depends on your preferences and needs. If you are three adults, prefer cooking for yourself, and/or intend to bring your dog along, the Garden suite would be more suitable. On the other hand, if you desire more of a hotel feel, prefer not to cook yourself, and enjoy watching TV from bed, then the Forest suite is the perfect fit for you. The Forest suite, with its authentic details and forest view, is often considered the most romantic, while the Garden suite is cozy and equipped with a kitchen, making it ideal for longer stays. Both suites are luxurious, stylish, and exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay whichever you opt for.
Is there cooking facilities available in the suites?
The Garden suite is equipped with a full kitchen including an induction hob, large oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and all necessary cooking utensils, plates, and cutlery. In contrast, the Forest suite doesn't allow for dinner cooking but allows for preparing lunch and breakfast (as mentioned in the differences above).
Which suite is the most romantic / suitable for our wedding night?
While both suites are popular choices for newlywed couples, the Forest suite is often preferred for wedding nights, likely due to its authentic details, hotel-like ambiance, and forest view.
Which suite is best for an extended stay?
Both suites offer ample space with the Forest suite spanning 48 m² and the Garden suite 55 m². Each suite features a separate living room with seating and dining areas, making them ideal for longer stays. If you prefer cooking your meals, the Garden suite is recommended. If dining out at the fantastic local restaurants is more your style, both the Forest and Garden suites are well-suited for extended stays.
Both suites are well-stocked with towels, toilet paper, and luxurious bath products from Marie-Stella-Maris, as well as Nespresso capsules, milk frother, and tea.
Is it possible to stay in your B&B with a group of friends?
Absolutely! Friend groups often book our B&B for a weekend getaway. You can comfortably accommodate up to 5 adults by booking both suites. The Garden suite accommodates 3 people, while the Forest suite accommodates 2. It's worth noting that the two suites are not adjacent; they are approximately 50 meters apart.
What are the check-in times?
Check-in is available between 3 pm and 8 pm. Outside these hours by appointment. If you arrive much later (e.g. after a wedding), we will place the key in the key safe and send you clear instructions to comfortably check-in independently.
Can I check-in earlier?
On some days, early check-in is possible. Sometimes we know this in advance, and then we will let you know in the check-in information email from what time check-in is already possible. If we find out on the same day that the suite is ready earlier, we can send you a message. Feel free to ask about it. You can always park your car earlier and go for a forest walk or enjoy lunch at the House of Bird tasting room!
What if I arrive around midnight?
No problem at all! We will place the key in the key safe and send you clear instructions about parking, where to find the key safe, and what you need to know about your suite. Inside the suite, you will also find handy cards explaining the television, coffee and tea corner, wifi code, etc.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is until 11 am. Except on Sundays, then you can use the suite until 6 pm!
Can I check out later?
It usually depends on whether we have new guests arriving the same day. Sometimes it is possible to check out a bit later, but we always need to discuss this with our cleaning team. If there are no new guests arriving that day, you can often check out later, sometimes until 6 pm!
How does the Lazy Sunday late check-out work?
Every Sunday is Lazy Sunday with us :-). This means you can use your suite until 6 pm. This doesn’t cost anything extra and you don't have to do anything, it is included by default in your weekend booking. So, you can snooze a bit longer in the morning, enjoy a leisurely brunch, and still have plenty of time for a lovely walk!
How does the booking process work?
The easiest way is to send a reservation request by clicking the 'Book your stay' button. We will receive your request and respond within a few hours during the day. If you send your booking request in the (late) evening, we will reply in the morning. We will hold the requested dates for you and send you an overview of the costs, payment terms, and answer any other questions via email. If you agree to everything, then email us back, and we will send you the confirmation of your booking!
I want to give a stay as a gift, but I'm not sure about the dates yet, how can I make a reservation?
A lot is possible with us by agreement. You can always cancel or reschedule any booking for free up to 3 weeks before the check-in date. So, you can usually make the booking and then change or cancel it if it doesn't fit your schedule. If the booking is on very short notice, discuss with us how much time you need to confirm the dates. Often, we can hold the dates for you. Another option is to give a gift voucher and make the booking once the dates are final.

You can find all prices here, and all prices include VAT and tourist tax but exclude breakfast. Please note that we have a minimum stay of 2 nights. Any additional costs (pet fees, additional guests, baby cot, etc.) will always be clearly stated upfront. We do not have any hidden costs!
Do I get a discount for booking a longer period?

If you book a stay that begins within 14 days, you will receive a 10% last minute discount. This is where we also feature our special offers.

Yes and no. It's never possible on weekends. Occasionally, on weekdays, especially during the low season, it may be possible. Feel free to send us an email or WhatsApp message to inquire. Sometimes, we may have availability in our schedule.
I need to bridge a gap until my new house is ready, can I rent a suite for a longer period?
This is possible, but we mainly do this during the low season (November to March). Please note that the Garden suite has a kitchen but no washing machine. However, you can use our cleaning service's laundry facilities.
Are breakfast bookings available?
Yes, you can, but it's not necessary. Breakfast is served every morning from 9:30 at our neighbor House of Bird Tasting Room (1 minute by car, 5 minutes on foot). Breakfast does not require a reservation, so you don't need to decide in advance whether you want to eat there or not. You have the flexibility to choose! Until when can I cancel my booking for free?
You can cancel or reschedule your booking for free up to 21 days before the check-in date. For a last-minute cancellation, we recommend adding a cancellation insurance (ongoing) to your travel insurance.
Is your B&B easy to find? Will we receive directions?
Our B&B is easy to find, although some (older) navigation systems may not recognize our address correctly. Therefore, we always send a clear set of directions and instructions a few days before your check-in date to ensure you can easily reach us even with an older navigation system.
Can I park for free at the suite?
There are plenty of free parking spaces on our premises. The Garden suite has its own parking spot right next to the suite. If you are staying in the Forest suite, you can park at the parking lot of our flooring showroom, Parketloods, approximately 25 meters away from the Forest suite.
We are arriving with multiple cars, is there enough space?
There is ample space to park multiple cars on our premises.
Is there a place where I can store and charge my (electric) bike?
There are plenty of spots where you can safely store your bike and charge it. The battery of your electric bike may also be charged in the suite, but never overnight and only when you are present. This is due to the fire hazards.
Can I charge my electric car?
Yes, you can do so for a fee. There is a charging station available, but it is not compatible with a fuel card/tag for payment. Therefore, payment must be made directly to us. Please note that charging with a 220v plug is not allowed!
Are pets allowed in the suites?
Your furry friend is more than welcome in the Garden suite, with a few guidelines to bear in mind. Keep in mind that pets are not permitted on the bed or sofa, and don't forget to clean those muddy paws after a stroll in the woods. Please note that the Forest suite is designated as pet-free, except for service dogs.
